Account Director

As Account Director, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing proposals, generating new opportunities from your client list and ensuring the overall health and well-being of the accounts. The ideal candidate will be well-versed at consultative sales and have experience working with movie and/or television studios. We are partners to our clients who want to do what’s right for our client’s business so you need to have a strategic mind that adds value to our client’s business. You should have a great team oriented approach and the ability to work together to solve problems with solutions that make sense for your clients and your team.

 

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the client’s primary point of contact at a digital marketing agency
  • Help articulate and advance client business needs, prepare accurate revenue forecasting
  • Deliver presentations to small and large client groups for executives at the Manager, Director, Vice President, and C-level
  • Qualify client opportunities, help to define prospect requirements, and influence outcome
  • Monitor internal workflow for all account activities to ensure successful and timely delivery
  • Grow existing accounts while demonstrating consistently sound judgment and creative thinking
  • Develop long-range account strategies to foster continued agency involvement
  • Build solid, trusted relationships with team members, clients, and industry thought leaders

 

Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited university
  • Experience in agency account management or previous experience serving as an account lead on entertainment (Film/TV) clients
  • Experienced Sr. or Executive Producer experience with entertainment clients will be considered
  • Demonstrated experience and ability in managing complex digital advertising accounts
  • Ability to manage multiple assigned client accounts and campaigns concurrently
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures calmly
  • Demonstrates excellent judgment when working with team members, clients and vendors
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to present with poise, persuasion and tact. Ability to communicate effectively both externally (client, vendor, partner agency) and internally at all levels
  • Significant understanding of the digital media arena and online marketing vertical
  • Proven success in sustaining and growing existing business relationships and generating new business opportunities
  • Willingness to travel
